After just two years, Giovanni Bianco, the Creative Director of Vogue Italia, has decided to leave the magazine. We do not know the reasons behind this decision, but we loved his fresh and brilliant works on a magazine like the Italian Vogue, known for being on the most controversial and ‘’ambitious’’ magazines of the fashion world (especially thanks to the virtuous creative vision of the legendary Franca Sozzani, who has been the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia from 1988 until 2016, the year of her death). Giovanni Bianco has always had a close relationship with our city, Milan, the place in which he took his first steps in the worlds of design, fashion and communication.

Nowadays, Giovanni Bianco is the founder and Creative Director of GB65, one of the most important and influential creative agencies in the world, specialized in luxury, fashion, entertainment and lifestyle. Giovanni Bianco has always worked with the most prominent photographers and designers, delivering the most impactful advertising campaigns, visuals and graphic identities of the fashion industry.

GB65 has worked with brands such as Prada, Versace, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo and Missoni and, outside fashion, Giovanni Bianco has also worked with famous artists such as Madonna, curating her albums’s artworks and world tours.

Giovanni Bianco was appointed Creative Director of Vogue Italia in 2017, and Emanuele Farneti, the Editor of the magazine, commented the decision saying that Giovanni Bianco’s internationally recognized talent and vision, based on his solid Italian root, would have wrote the new chapter of the image of the magazine that has made the history of the world-wide publishing. We have loved his years of activity as Creative Director of the Italian Vogue, but we can not way to see what will happen next, so… stay tuned!
