During this last season, Milan Fashion Week was the hottest event of the fashion month. The first big maison that showed its new collection was Prada: for a lot of fashion Editors of the most relevant publications of the fashion system, this was the most outstanding collection of the Italian brand after a long long time and we can not agree more! The inspiration was very clear: from Wednesday Addams to the goth movement. The colour palette went from black to blue and pink and the beauty of the collection laid in the contrast between the femininity of the lace and masculinity of the trousers. It was simply the quintessence of Prada and we could not love it more!

Jil Sander was also one of the biggest revelations of the Milan Fashion Week. The collection gave a feeling of purity, softness and sensuality thanks to delicate silhouettes and prestigious materials.
To all the Céline-orphans out there: Luke and Lucie Meier’s Jil Sander can be the perfect choice if you miss the unmistakable minimalistic and conceptual Phoebe Philo’ style.

Other brands that caught our attention are: Marni, which presented a beautiful collection made of deconstructed and reconstructed belted jackets; Gucci, that celebrated the eccentricity and fanciness of the 80’s and Bottega Veneta which, thanks to its new Creative Director Daniel Lee, has now a brand new, fresh and modern aesthetic.
In conclusion, this last Milan Fashion Week was very exciting thanks to new debuts and unexpected revelations: Italian style is now living its renaissance.
